Vention Automation Product Lifecycle Policy

Vention is committed to delivering reliable, cutting-edge automation products to clients. The objective is to maximize the usable life of Vention Automation Products, ensuring peace of mind by providing the necessary replacement parts and support services throughout their entire lifecycle.

This Product Lifecycle Policy applies to all automation products (meaning a product that incorporates electronics and firmware) designed and manufactured by Vention ("Vention Automation Products"). Partner Products are not covered by this Policy. To understand the support applicable to a Partner Product, it is necessary to consult the relevant Partner`s lifecycle policy.

1. Design Life and Support Programs

All Vention Automation Products are designed with at least a six-year design life in mind. This is not a guarantee or a warranty, but a standard life expectancy to help in planning operations. To ensure the smooth operation of a Vention Automation Product throughout its lifecycle, clients can opt for the various support programs and warranties defined in this Policy.

2. Standard Warranty Program

The Standard Warranty Program covers the first year of a Vention Automation Product and is defined in our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Beyond the standard warranty, there is an option to extend the warranty coverage through the Extended Warranty Program.

3. Extended Warranty Program

Clients have the option to extend their warranty coverage for an additional two years beyond the standard warranty period. This extended warranty covers both parts and services. Clients must purchase the extended warranty at the time of the automation product purchase.

4. Spare Parts Availability

4.1 Spare Parts Catalog

For up to two years after the standard warranty period, Vention guarantees the availability of parts to order for previous-generation Products. This ensures that clients can maintain their systems smoothly even after the standard warranty has expired.

4.2 Provisional Spare Parts Kit

Vention offers a provisional spare parts kit containing recommended parts and components for the maintenance and repair of Products. Once purchased, the Kit will be delivered at the preferred location determined by the client. This ensures critical spare parts are readily available, where and when they are needed, in case of unexpected issues.

5. Upgrade Incentive Program

Upon the launch of a new generation product, Vention may offer an upgrade incentive program to facilitate a seamless upgrade experience. This program provides incentives and discounts for clients looking to upgrade to the latest generation, ensuring they have access to the most advanced technology at a competitive price.

6. Effectivity and Policy Updates

This policy applies to Vention Automation Products purchased after August 31st, 2024.

Vention regularly reviews its policies to improve its products and services. Any updates or modifications to this Policy will be communicated on the Vention website. Understanding and support are appreciated as Vention strives to uphold the highest standards of client satisfaction and product sustainability.
